Transportation

Transportation is provided for students living inside the RSCO transportation zone. Review the transportation zone map to determine eligibility.

  • RSCO does not provide door-to-door transportation. Bus stops vary and may include stops in your neighborhood or centralized locations in or near your town. Typically, centralized bus stops are not within walking distance of a student’s home. Families are responsible for transportation to the bus stop.

  • Students attending a magnet school located in their town receive transportation through their home district. Hartford residents receive transportation through Hartford Public Schools for this school. Contact the district’s transportation office for more information.

For students living outside the transportation zone, families may transport their child to an existing stop within the transportation zone or provide their own transportation. A reimbursement stipend is available for families who live outside the transportation zone and bring their child to school.
