Typically, centralized bus stops are not within walking distance of a student’s home. Families are responsible for transportation to the bus stop.

Special Features
-
Specialization in performing arts: Our dedicated focus allows students to immerse themselves in music, theater, dance, and related disciplines, enabling them to develop their talents and passions more deeply than in a traditional school setting. 9th-grade students select a primary area of focus based on their talents and interests, building a strong portfolio of experience for college and beyond.
-
Nurturing, close-knit community environment: Our familial atmosphere encourages creativity and collaboration, helping students feel supported and valued, and thrive personally and academically.
-
Diverse student body: Kinsella attracts a diverse group of students from various backgrounds, enriching the school with a variety of perspectives and cultural experiences, enhancing artistic expression and fostering an inclusive environment.
-
Expert faculty and mentorship: The faculty consists of experienced professionals in the arts who provide not only instruction but also mentorship. Their real-world experience and passion inspire students to reach their full potential while building valuable connections for future opportunities.
-
Innovative curriculum: Our progressive approach to education blends traditional academic subjects with intensive arts training, preparing students for artistic careers—and equipping them with the critical thinking and collaborative skills needed in various fields. Students participated in Broadway Up Close workshops in New York City, learning about makeup, stage combat, stage management, and Broadway dance, ending with watching a Broadway musical.
-
Performance opportunities: Students showcase their talents through concerts, theater productions, art exhibitions, and community events, building confidence and gaining real-world experience.
-
Focus on collaboration and teamwork: The performing arts inherently emphasize collaboration, and Kinsella encourages students to work together across disciplines, whether in creating theater productions or music ensembles. This teamwork nurtures interpersonal skills and enhances the learning experience.
-
Community engagement: Kinsella emphasizes the importance of connecting with the local community through outreach programs, performances, and partnerships with local arts organizations. This engagement helps students understand their role within the broader context and fosters a sense of responsibility and citizenship.
-
Commitment to student growth: Kinsella is dedicated to not just developing students’ artistic skills but also nurturing their personal growth. Programs and initiatives aimed at building self-esteem, resilience, and leadership skills prepare students for success beyond high school.
