Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School helps young minds flourish in an environment designed to ignite a lifelong love for learning. Our program offers an early childhood education with 18 classrooms of preschool children (ages 3 to 5) in a mixed-age, inclusive setting. Children learn in a language-rich environment that supports self- regulation through play and inquiry-based, hands-on learning. Our unique outdoor learning environments, including a courtyard greenhouse and three playground areas, bring our science and inquiry theme to life through collaboration with 4-H Education Center at Auer Farm in Bloomfield.

Eligibility to Apply: Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School has partner towns and limits applications to families residing in the partner towns. Children from the following towns may apply to Wintonbury through the on-line RSCO School Choice Application: Avon, Bloomfield, East Granby, Granby, Hartford, Simsbury, and West Hartford.
