Visual and Performing Arts
The Visual and Performing Arts theme encourages students to develop artistic creations to communicate thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Students have access to specialized courses in art, music, dance, digital arts, creative writing, theater design and other forms of performance art.
Special Features
- The 9-12 program is located in a new, state-of-the-art facility with ultra-modern dance studios, Black Box Theater, music rooms, and more.
- 9th-grade students select a primary area of focus based on their talents and interests, building a strong portfolio of experience for college and beyond.
- Students participated in Broadway Up Close workshops in New York City, learning about makeup, stage combat, stage management, and Broadway dance, ending with watching a Broadway musical.
