RiverTech Academy at Goodwin University (formerly NexTech), Connecticut&rsquo;s first technical magnet high will begin welcoming 9th grade students in the 2025-26 school year as part of its 9-12th grade program. Located on Goodwin University&#39;s East Hartford campus, RiverTech will offer a cutting-edge curriculum centered around business, entrepreneurialism, and technology. Students will have the unique opportunity to explore fields such as machine learning, computer science, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and cybersecurity and more. RiverTech&nbsp;will provide internships, pre-apprenticeships, and other hands-on experiences for its&rsquo; scholars by utilizing the newest and most revolutionary technology. RiverTech&rsquo;s innovative approach will equip students with the tools and experiences necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology landscape. RiverTech&rsquo;s state-of-the-art facility will be completed and ready for students by the 2026-27 school year.
